10. “The Burr Oak Bowl” - The trophy presented to the winner of the Trimble-Miller game. Since its creation in 1994 Trimble has held possession for all but two seasons |

9. Glouster Stadium Home Locker Room - This location has seen many great Trimble players, and heard the voices of some of the most respected coaches in Ohio. |

8. “The Alley Cats” - The nickname of a group of alumni that have thrown the pads back on to better the team during down years. The Alley Cats had their own newsletter known as "The Alley Cat Review." Their goal was to create the Warpigs, animals with a high level of commitment. |

7. “Christmas in April” - L.R. Faires gets credit for coining that phrase to describe the annual Alumni Banquet. A guest speaker from Trimble football past is invited, a scholarship award winner is announced, and we vote for the Tomcat Excellence Award. |

6. “Trimble versus Nelsonville-York” - The rivalry that once decided the TVC Championship in week 10 has now been moved to the season opener for both teams, after 16 seasons being the mid-year classic. The First National Bank Trophy falls second to the pride that is on the line as the battle lines are drawn at Murray City Hill. |

5. “The Lot” - The centerpiece in pre-game festivities. If you are not from Trimble and want to experience “The Lot” you better start buttering up your closest Tomcat friend now, so they will allow you in on this great tradition. |

| 4. “Alumni Game / Tomcat Excellence Award Ceremony” - The Friday before the first varsity football game gives Trimble Alumni Football Players one more opportunity to strap ‘em up and bang heads. Pre-Game is the presentation of the Tomcat Excellence Award, which is voted on by the members of TAFPA. (see the Excellence Award page) |

3. Glouster Memorial Stadium – The battle scarred arena that has seen wars fought on its terrain since the WPA built it in 1939-1940. Today it truly has “a face only a Tomcat could love” with its small locker rooms, light fixtures nearly on the field, crow’s nests, mid-field scoreboard, and tons of concrete. (Remember the wire around the field, cinder track, concession stands in the tunnel?) |

2. Coaches – Trimble is seen as the “Little Miami” for coaches of high school football. Trimble serves as a launching pad for coaches, who are either former players or assistants that get their feet wet in Glouster (see the Coaches page) |

1. “Pride, Hit, Desire” – Those three words were painted on the west wall of the old weight room. They embody the spirit of a Trimble player. Former Coach Ed Bolin said that a Trimble player “was never the biggest, the strongest, or the fastest, but the one who played with the most heart and the most courage.” The reputation of being the smaller team that will out hit you, is a badge of pride that every former Tomcat player wears, and expects out of the current Tomcat team. |
